Welcome Letter from the CEO

Hi, I am Thomas Streimelweger, the new CEO of S&T as of today. I founded the company in 1987, took S&T public in 1998 and managed it until 2000. Since 2004 I have been the Chairman of the Supervisory Board and as of now I am the most influential shareholder – my stake represents more than 28%.

My motivation to take over the CEO position has its roots in the effects of the turbulent economic times and is also driven by the very interesting scenario of a major change in our shareholder structure (e.g., sale of AvW stake). Much more though I am interested in the acceleration of our turnaround efforts and our simultaneous strategic alignment. We want to focus on larger customers, with more complex needs and get them into long term contractual relationships. So the „catch“ (customer) of the future comes in by high level business and IT strategy consulting. Next, we take care to implement what we advise (Integration) and ultimately we want to provide a high level outsourcing offering. This sharpening of our actual strategy will lead to a reduction of the number of customers, but to much bigger project sizes. Our „M&A“ of the future will mostly be by way of „top level hiring“ (e.g., key account representatives with very strong industry roots). On the financing front we are making good progress on refinancing – our strategy also includes looking for a healthy dose of fresh equity. Last not least, I want to intensify our public communication. We have to be much more present with our success stories and I want to upgrade our image in the eyes of our customers and on the capital markets.

My plan includes to be very present with our top customers and even more important with the big potential clients.
